Slip Casting
Before producing the tableware, bespoke molds must be crafted. This process involves pouring gypsum into designated model templates, followed by thorough manual stirring to eliminate any air bubbles, and then allowing the mixture to solidify for 15 minutes. Once the molds attain the necessary hardness, they are carefully demolded to produce the desired forms. Different types and production processes of molds have different lifespans; for instance, cup molds used in slip casting can be utilized approximately 100 times, whereas rolling molds have a lifespan of around 200 uses.
